it took me all the way till the final scene in 190 to figure it out. Heiji's red-herring threw me off, way way off! but then i remembered something. Conan can NOT resist walking up to a corpse! Haibara's the one wearing the mask and Conan's glasses. Shin's the prince in the play. now how in the blue blazes did they get the 'chinese booze cure' to work a second time? i thought Shin tried that once and all he got was a crazy bad hangover? its the fever isn't it? he's caught a cold in the hospital and THAT'S why the Chinese booze cure is working?

Wow, you're pretty much right! I was completely stumped the first time I watched this.Yeah I'm pretty sure it was the fever that did it. They show later that the cure he used this time wasn't actually the alcohol but an antidote Haibara made based off it (which you've probably seen by now..) And I think they either say or imply later that a cold is needed for it to work, so yeah. Idk if the straight alcohol would still work anymore, even with a cold, but I'd assume so, just not as well
